ABOUT THE PARENTING NETWORK

The Parenting Network is a not-for-profit, Community Interest Company that provides a much loved and much needed service for local families in Portsmouth.

The Parenting Network CIC is working to build a self sustaining and supportive community of families in Portsmouth in order to drive forward social change through education on positive parenting and best practice; this is all delivered through a series of programmes using social theory as a model to promote fun learning, strengthen family bonds, bringing together communities, tackling gender stereotyping and isolation.

The Parenting Network is made up of 4 key areas including The Parenting Forum, Dadzclub, Wonder Mumz and the Step Up to Parenting programme.

The Parenting Network’s goal is to build a self sustaining and supportive network of parents all across Hampshire.

ABOUT THE PORTSMOUTH PARENTING FORUM

Launching in the Summer; The Portsmouth Parenting Forum takes place once a month at The Portsmouth Guildhall.

Independent of local government and funded by parents for parents; The Portsmouth Parenting Forum will give parents a genuine voice in Portsmouth and the chance to set our own agenda rather than respond to one.

Want to start your own dad/mumtrepreneurial business? We have that covered! Feeling discriminated against by your employer due to taking parental leave? We have that covered too!

Basically, it’s an awesome Forum that you simply can’t afford to miss out on! It’s all relaxed and informal; grab a drink from the bar and join in!

Free for Family Card Holders
£5 for non-members
