Portsmouth Baby Bank promotes The Baby Friendly Initiative which aims to ensure that all parents make informed decisions about feeding their babies and are supported in their chosen feeding method.
Organisations are often target by formula manufactures as their endorsement of a product may act to reassure and sway families towards one feeding method.
In response The Portsmouth Baby Bank does not accept funding from sources which have a commercial interest in infant feeding. For example, we will not accept sponsorship (funding or gifts) from manufacturers of breastmilk substitutes, feeding bottles, teats or dummies. We also do not accept sponsorship from those companies who profit from breastfeeding (success or failure) such as nipple creams, breast pumps, nursing bras, nipple shields etc.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
